CAPE BREEDERS AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The brilliant Hawwaam was named the Cape Breeders’ Horse Of The Year at a virtual ceremony on Sunday evening.

The half-brother to G1 winners Golden Ducat and Rainbow Bridge was also named Champion Middle Distance Horse and Champion Older Male after a season which saw Hawwaam win four of six starts including both the G1 World Sports Betting Premier’s Champions Challenge and G1 H F Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes.
